So far, so good!

Hello!

Today was the FIRST DAY! Not going to lie, I got lost, a lot, and I probably asked where my next class was to like, every single teacher. There's definitely a lot of VERY nice eye candy... I'll for sure be day dreaming most of the time during lunch (new world issues teacher= ON FIRE) Most of the classes seem good, my teachers are pretty open to anything, and they're very willing to lend a helping hand, which I am incredibly greatful for :) It's comforting to know that upper classmen aren't too above us to help out.

Another thing, we haven't had tennis practice in a week. A solid week. How ridiculous is that?! We have a match on Thursday, and we'll have had a full 2 and one half hours of practice. I hope this team's not all that good... Hopefully that doesn't sound too mean. DP and Iwere pretty pissed when we found out.

Since it's the first day, I don't have homework! Therefore, I have been watching Secret life, the new 90210, as well as the Cleaner! Secret life was good, as it always is.... ALWAYS, never fails, I am in no way shape or form ever dissapointed in this show from week to week, I simple cannot get enough.

90210 wasn't necessarily disappointing, not that i was paying all that much attention to it. The guys are hot, but everyone's taking the OLD 90210's place.. They could have been a lot more creative with the plot and character's background. However, I will
admit that they diversified some of the show, having an adoptive african-american son.

Moving onto the cleaner, it's on right now! I cannot stress how impressed I am by this TV show. The integrity of 'william banks' and his team show how selfless people can be. It is both heart wrenching, up lifting, and inspiring. Honestly, so many people today only do good deeds when they are expecting a reward or some other kind of recognition in one way or another. These people simply don't give up, no matter what hardships they have to face and deal with every single day they live. They themselves have overcome addiction and pain of their own, who can say they can help others with a struggle they know so well... It's something all of us can admire and hope that (God forbid) if we find ourselves in these situations, people such as Mr. Banks as well as his squad will be there for us, not giving up until the job is thuroughly done.

Anyway, onto the next...
I've just recently come to realize how much it sucks that I haven't signed up for Drivers Ed yet. My parents have said repeatedly time and again that they want me to be driving by my birthday. Of course, being my parents, it's as of right now all talk and no action. I don't even know if I want to be in the class during the school year, with you know, SCHOOL and all, it could get pretty hectic. I'm not sure if I want to drive if they aren't willing to give me a car either. While my mother's all for me getting my own set of wheels, I have the feeling my dad's not going to budge. He doesn't think I need a car. While this reason is somewhat legit, I disagree. I believe that I DO need one. Both of my parents work considerably long hours (it's 9:33 PM, and I'm home alone, go figure) so I don't think either of them would really be willing to give their car up as I'm going out of town for the night. Also, I'll be entering PSAT/SAT prep classes (Click here for info) which are only available in Madison (I completely love living in such a small town) How do they expect me to get down to the Capitol without a ride.... I'm not walking 100 something miles, obviously. They'll be wasting $1500 just because they don't want me to get a car... Foolish? Very.

Speaking of Madison, I went to the game against Akron on Saturday! Very nice, incase you've been living under a rock, they won 38-17 (Go Bucky!) USC also won! Overall it was a great weekend for sports, dispite the Packer game (which I also attended!) The ref's were, well, blowing the game. I don't think a lot of people realize how well the 2nd and 3rd string players did against TNT's starters! I also attended my high schools first football game! Didn't do so well... Okay, we sucked, but who can you blame? Their probably getting used to losing by now, horrible. The aftershow on the radio interviewed the leaders of the team saying everything that they did well... Wasn't much, let me tell you!

anyway, I figure I'll ask a few questions of the day:

  1. What's been your favorite TV show to watch this summer?
  2. What's your favorite TV show of all time?
  3. Favorite NCAAF team(S)? Why?

Happy life~

Mary
