Getting back into the routine of things...

Summer's ending..... fast

So, it's been about a week.. or actually, it's just been a week. Nothing's really changed, just playing tennis and getting ready for school to start!

I got my schedule for classes! This year I have:

1. Algebra
2. Wold Issues
3. Fibers (art class)
4. Biology
5. English
6. Phys Ed 2
7. French 3 (Dear God!)
8. Accounting

Pretty good, I'd say! I even managed to get a study hall second semester, hopefully that'll help me manage my homework during finals and softball season. Im actually getting really, really excited! Although there's no way I'll figure out how to wake up around 6 in the morning in order to be ready for school on time..... even though I live (literally) one block from the front door. This might just turn out to be one of the most exciting school years yet!

Onto tennis:

We had two matches this week, which of both we won! 2-0, baby! The first one was wayyyy up north, we had to be on the bus by 7:45, boo. We got there where all the people from the opposing team were warming up, we got the back 5 courts to warm up on. Not that any of it matters, anyway! DP and I didn't have to play for about an hour or so, so we got to watch the 2 Doubles Match. They did very well, although the other team wasn't very good at calling lines (when I say that I mean they were pissed they were losing). Once we got to play, we were both a little nervous, first match jitters and all. The girls we played were pretty nice, just not as consistent as we would have liked them to be (okay, we loved all the double faults). We ended up winning 6-1 6-4! Overall, Varsity swept 7-0 and JV won alll of the matches except one! We had another JV Match on Thursday, the competition wasn't much better. The other team overall was really, really chill. We played with "Danielle and Chelsea", they were really funny and didn't have hard feelings over the loss. Since it was just a JV match we just played one set to 10 and no duece (for those who don't know, duece is when both apponents are at 40, the match point.) We ended up winning 10-4! The team overall won everything except 2 matches, which were both very well played! I think we've gotten off to a really, really good start in conference and non-conference play!

Not much else going on right now, just wanted to post a qucik update!
